Mounted Police Musical Ride and Airshow in Borden

Thanks for the idea Bob; it was nice to be in a crowd of 'locals' on this sunny day ;-)

So good to see your video of the air show from Military Base Borden. Even though we didn't get to see the Snowbirds (formed in 1971 to ensure the preservation of the traditions of aerial perfection) fly in unison because of the clouds the low part of the display was excellent. I especially enjoyed seeing the Skyhawks parachute team come in flying our flag and
your video really gives a sense of the excitement of the Royal Canadian Police Musical Ride that raises funds to support community policing and crime prevention throughout Canada. An interesting note is that the first musical ride took place at Fort Macleod, Alberta in 1876 to provide relief for the officers from the daily drill periods and routine duties.
