Still alive and had our first day in Midland

As expected, no internet in Wellington yesterday. It it a very nice and 'romantic' place but it's in the middle of nowhere. So, ideal to rest and just have a stop after a trip of 7 hours. The Devonshire Inn was excellent, with a nice view on the lake while having dinner/breakfast.

Since not very good weather after breakfast we couldn't even go for a walk, so immediately left for Midland.
Nice to finally see Bob.

We visited Huronia and its museum and now know more about the Indians as well as where the 'Slenderyou' comes from

A little drive in the streets to have a look at the different wall paintings :

And now you can see where I got the picture for the header of my blog -> The Trumpet Swan from Midland (and indeed, we have some sun again today) ;-)

Glad to see that you are still alive! Mike drove to Montreal this morning, picked up Suwat and Patrick and dropped Suwat at the airport for his flight to Washington (NOT New York)..... We hope that you are having as good weathee as we are here in Ottawa. Patrick will see you in Toronto on Monday.

Hello Pong :-D - nice to have your comment and hear from you. I tried sending an SMS to Patrick to wish a good flight to Suwat and say hi to the both of you from us, but message didn't pass. I hope Suwat safely arrived in Washington ;-)

I am so happy to welcome you to Midland and I am know I am going to enjoy your visit here but I am sorry to say NO! you cannot take the 'Slenderyou' home with you because it belongs in the museum ;-)
